HJC RPHA 11 helmets are sport-oriented full-face models with a broad eye opening designed to support a forward-leaning riding posture. For an existing helmet, identifying the correct shield and interior parts is as important as choosing a finish was originally. Keep the RPHA 11 distinct from later RPHA generations when comparing specifications.
HJC describes PIM Plus construction using reinforcement materials including carbon and carbon-glass hybrid fabric. Its European RPHA 11 page identifies ECE 22.05 approval and an eye opening intended to improve the view in a tucked position. Those details should not be replaced with RPHA 12 specifications simply because the model numbers are adjacent.
The manufacturer’s fitment chart assigns HJ-26 to RPHA 11 and RPHA 11 Carbon. It lists HJ-26ST separately for RPHA 70. Check the exact component reference rather than treating a similar name or an item appearing in a collection as sufficient fitment evidence. Confirm the anti-fog insert and any race-shield accessories against the chosen visor.
The RPHA 11 has a removable interior, glasses grooves and an emergency cheek-pad release system. Follow the model instructions for cleaning and refitting the padding. For an older helmet, review its condition and the manufacturer’s replacement guidance rather than assuming a fresh visor renews the whole helmet. Compare the wider HJC range if you are deciding between maintaining an existing setup and replacing it.
Bring your usual glasses and riding gloves to compare fit and controls. For replacement parts, bring the helmet or its exact model details.
