Clean, repel rain or reduce fog?
- VisioCrystal surface cleaner: removes grease and road film before a treatment is applied. The current Moto Central listing is the 125 ml pump spray.
- VisioDry anti-rain treatment: a superhydrophobic coating for the outside of suitable visors, glasses and goggles. The range includes a compact 15 ml pump spray and 35 ml and 75 ml aerosol formats.
- VisioFog anti-fog wipe: a reusable microfibre treatment for reducing condensation on the inside of suitable optical surfaces. Store and use it as directed so the treatment is not contaminated or exhausted prematurely.
Applying VisioDry anti-rain treatment
Start with a clean, dry surface and confirm that the helmet or lens manufacturer permits the treatment. Apply the spray evenly from the distance stated on the pack, then allow it to dry for the specified time. Visio Dry’s current guidance says not to wipe the surface after application because rubbing removes the temporary coating.
Do not apply anti-rain spray to the inside of a visor unless the exact instructions expressly permit it. Keep overspray away from vents, seals, Pinlock inserts and other components, and stop using the product if clarity is reduced or the finish appears uneven.
Using the anti-fog wipe
Use the VisioFog wipe only on a clean surface and follow its own application and storage instructions. Fogging also depends on ventilation, temperature, humidity and how the helmet fits. Keep the visor vents working correctly and do not treat the wipe as a substitute for a compatible Pinlock insert where one is required or preferred.
