Nitro Models
Nitro motorcycle helmets span road, commuter, adventure and off-road designs, with replacement visors and other accessories forming a separate part of the buying decision. Whether you are selecting a helmet or maintaining one you already own, identify the intended riding use and full model name first. Fit, coverage and correct parts matter more than matching a colour or choosing from a familiar badge.
A broad range for different riding needs
Nitro's manufacturer catalogue separates full-face, modular, commuter and off-road families, including youth designs. Consider the coverage and eye-protection arrangement you need before comparing graphics. A road helmet with a visor and an off-road helmet worn with goggles call for different checks, even if they carry the same size label.
Keep older and newer models distinct. The approval and features advertised for the latest Nitro range cannot automatically be applied to an earlier X580 or another older designation. Read the specific helmet's label and instructions, and confirm the supplied visor, lining and fastening details on the version you intend to buy.
Look after the helmet you already have
When replacing a visor, use the helmet's exact model reference and the part's stated fitment. A visor labelled for X509 V should not be assumed to fit an X580 because the names look similar. Check the tint and use restrictions, fitting mechanism and any anti-fog compatibility before ordering. Ask for help if the identification label is unclear.
Nitro advises careful cleaning, avoiding solvents and using original replacement parts. Follow the instructions for your particular helmet and allow cleaned linings to dry fully. A replacement visor can address a worn viewing surface, but it does not restore a helmet damaged in an accident; Nitro says helmets involved in accidents must be replaced.
Explore motorcycle helmet visors for a confirmed replacement, goggles for compatible off-road setups, or the wider helmet range when choosing a new helmet.
Help with a helmet or visor match
Visit Moto Central in Wolvey for a helmet fitting comparison, or bring the identification details of your existing Nitro helmet when asking about parts. Clear model information helps avoid an unsuitable replacement.
