The new HJC C92 modular helmet is designed to make everyday riding easier. Its flip-up chin bar, internal sun visor, glasses-friendly interior and Bluetooth speaker pockets give commuters and touring riders the practical features they use most, while ECE 22.06 and P/J approval support use in both full-face and approved open configurations.
Nine C92 colours and graphics are now listed at Moto Central and available to pre-order, with prices starting at £149.99. The range spans simple Pearl White and Semi Flat Black finishes plus the brighter Ragna and Sirius graphics.
A Practical New Modular Helmet
The C92 takes a straightforward approach to modular helmet design. A centrally positioned single-lever release makes the chin bar easy to operate, including when wearing gloves. Lifted at stops, fuel stations or brief conversations, it provides the convenience many daily riders expect without requiring them to remove the helmet.
HJC uses two shell sizes across the range to help keep the external dimensions better matched to the rider's head size. The Advanced Polycarbonate Compound shell is engineered around impact resistance, manageable weight and a balanced fit. A new micro buckle provides quick, repeatable fastening for frequent use.
ECE 22.06 and P/J
Current European certification with approval for designated full-face and open configurations.
Single-Lever Chin Bar
A glove-friendly central control makes the modular mechanism straightforward to operate.
Two Shell Sizes
Helps maintain more appropriate proportions and balance across XS to XXL sizing.
Communication Ready
Integrated speaker pockets simplify the installation of a suitable Bluetooth intercom.

Clear HJ-33 Visor and Internal Sun Shield
The clear HJ-33 visor provides 99% UV protection and uses an anti-scratch coating. HJC's RapidFire mechanism enables quick, tool-free visor changes, which is useful when replacing a worn visor or changing it for seasonal riding.
Pinlock preparation allows a compatible DKS267 anti-fog insert to be fitted. Behind the main visor, the distortion-free HJ-V12 internal sun shield provides convenient glare control without requiring a separate tinted visor. The paired system makes sense for commuting through changing light and touring from bright daytime conditions into the evening.
ACS Ventilation for Everyday Riding
HJC's Advanced Channelling Ventilation System uses three intake points and four exhaust outlets. Fresh air is guided through the helmet while heated, humid air is encouraged towards the rear. This front-to-back path is intended to make the C92 more comfortable in traffic as well as at touring speeds.
Ventilation controls are shaped for practical use with riding gloves. As with every helmet, airflow will vary with motorcycle screen height, riding position and speed, but the number of intake and extraction points gives the C92 a useful foundation for year-round road use.
Washable, Glasses-Friendly Interior
The antibacterial lining is designed to wick moisture and dry quickly. Both the crown pad and cheek pads can be removed for washing, an important detail for a helmet expected to see frequent commuting or long summer rides. Interchangeable cheek pads also offer scope to refine the fit where compatible alternatives are available.
Glasses grooves reduce pressure around eyewear arms, while built-in speaker pockets create space for intercom speakers without pressing them directly against the ears. A chin curtain is supplied to help manage airflow around the lower opening.
Who should consider the C92?
It is best suited to commuters, instructors, delivery riders and tourers who want everyday modular convenience at an accessible price. Riders seeking a more compact flip-back mechanism should compare it with the HJC i101, while those who never need a chin bar may prefer an open-face model such as the i41.

Its accessible pricing and broad choice of nine launch finishes should make it an appealing option for riders who want flip-up convenience without moving into a premium touring price bracket.
