The LS2 OF603 Infinity II Carbon, also called Infinity 2 Carbon, is an open-face helmet with a broad outer visor and a separate sun visor. Its carbon construction and touring-style features make it a different proposition from a minimal jet helmet, but the open-face protection distinction remains fundamental: the visor does not provide a protective chin bar.
LS2 specifies a 6K carbon shell and ECE 22.06 approval for the OF603 Infinity II Carbon. The manufacturer lists four shell-size groups and a micrometric metal buckle. These specifications identify the model; they do not make its facial coverage equivalent to a full-face helmet. Consider that difference alongside convenience, comfort and the riding you plan to do.
Try the helmet with the strap secured and check that it remains stable as you turn and nod your head. Test the outer visor's clearance around your nose, glasses and jacket collar, then operate the internal shade. A good fit should feel secure without painful pressure. Carbon construction is not a reason to accept a size or shape that does not suit you.
A replacement internal visor may be listed for OF603 alongside MX701 or FF811. That is a component-specific fitment statement, not evidence that the complete helmets share their outer visors. Check the exact reference, mounting points and version before ordering. For anti-fog equipment, confirm the fitted outer visor's insert requirement and the individual package contents.
LS2 lists removable, washable lining and communication-system readiness. Follow the supplied care instructions and check compatibility with the chosen intercom rather than assuming a system is included. The gallery shows a complete OF603 Carbon helmet, an internal visor and a ratchet set as separate illustrations. A shared ratchet listing should be read just as carefully as a visor listing.
Visit Moto Central to compare the Infinity II Carbon's open-face fit and visor clearance with other helmet styles. Bring your glasses and normal riding jacket, and discuss whether its level of facial coverage suits your priorities.
