LS2 MX708 Fast 2 helmets provide a goggle-based off-road format with a projecting peak and ventilated shape. Choosing one means considering the whole riding setup, from eye protection and fastening to how the helmet meets your jacket or body armour.
LS2 lists KPA construction, ECE 22.06 approval and double-D fastening for the MX708 Fast II. Learn the strap routing and adjustment before riding. If buying for organised sport, confirm the event rules against the exact helmet; road approval and competition acceptance are separate checks.
The adjustable, removable peak uses hand-release screws. Follow the manual for tightening and permitted positions, and check the fittings after cleaning or transport. Try goggles with the helmet so the frame sits comfortably within the eye port. A different frame shape can alter pressure and the view even when the helmet size stays the same.
The manufacturer specifies a removable, washable interior and emergency release system. Treat emergency components according to the instructions rather than using them for everyday adjustment. Let cleaned padding dry fully before refitting. When replacing a peak or liner, match the MX708 version and size instead of assuming parts from another Fast generation will fit.
Bring your usual riding equipment to compare helmet fit. For replacement parts, bring the helmet or its exact model, generation and size details.
