LS2 MX703 X-Force helmets are purpose-shaped for off-road riding with goggles. The extended peak and open eye port call for a different fitting approach from a road helmet with a built-in outer visor: try the helmet, goggles and riding equipment together.
LS2 specifies a Carbon 9K shell, double-D fastening and ECE 22.06 approval for the X-Force. Keep the standard X-Force distinct from X-Force Pro versions. If competition eligibility matters, check the exact helmet and the current organiser requirements; the shared MX703 family name is not proof of a particular racing homologation.
Try your chosen goggle frame inside the eye port before buying. Check that the foam sits evenly and the strap stays in position without pulling the frame away from your face. Look around in a normal standing riding posture as well as seated. Leave room for the nose and avoid judging fit from head circumference alone.
LS2 describes provision for a hydration kit inside the helmet. Confirm the actual kit and routing before using it, keeping tubing clear of the fastening and your field of view. After a dusty ride, follow the care instructions for the shell and interior. Identify the precise liner and peak version before ordering spares, especially where standard and Pro items appear together.
Bring your usual riding equipment to compare helmet fit. For replacement parts, bring the helmet or its exact model, generation and size details.
