LS2 FF811 Vector 2 helmets combine a sport-touring full-face layout with an internal sun visor. The family includes different shell constructions, so start with the exact version and fit, then compare the visor equipment and comfort features relevant to your riding.
LS2 describes the standard Vector II with an HPFC fibreglass-composite shell and lists Carbon as a separate FF811 version. Carbon is therefore a construction choice, not simply a dark finish. The standard model is offered across six shell sizes and carries ECE 22.06 approval. Try the version you intend to buy rather than assuming identical feel from the family name.
The wide outer visor is prepared for Pinlock Max Vision, with a separate drop-down sun visor behind it. Practise using the controls with your riding gloves and check clearance around your nose and glasses. Confirm the precise insert, shields and package contents on the chosen item, particularly when comparing standard and Carbon versions.
Sit upright and lean forward during a fitting to assess the view you need on your motorcycle. Check even contact around the head with the strap secured; a size label cannot describe every head shape. Keep FF811 and the complete version name for parts enquiries, and follow the model instructions when cleaning the interior or changing the visor.
Bring your usual riding equipment when comparing helmets. If you need a replacement component, bring the helmet or its exact model, version and size details.
