LS2 FF808 Stream 2 helmets offer a full-face urban-touring format with an outer visor and a separate drop-down sun visor. For commuting and longer road rides, compare fit and control access before deciding between a graphic finish and a plain colour.
LS2 specifies KPA shell construction, three shell sizes and ECE 22.06 approval for the Stream II FF808. Keep that model code when comparing helmets and ordering components. Stream names have appeared across generations and markets, so a familiar name alone is not enough evidence of shared parts.
The outer visor provides the main screen, while the internal sun visor gives a separate tinted option. Check both controls with gloves and assess clearance around spectacles. The Stream II is prepared for Pinlock Max Vision; confirm the exact insert and whether it is included with the selected package rather than assuming preparation means supplied.
Try the helmet in your normal riding posture with the strap fastened. Check that you can look ahead and turn your head comfortably, and take time to identify any local pressure. If adding an intercom, establish the correct installation kit before purchase. Retain the FF808 reference for replacement visors and interior parts, and follow the helmet instructions for cleaning and refitting.
Bring your usual riding equipment when comparing helmets. If you need a replacement component, bring the helmet or its exact model, version and size details.
