This collection contains two distinct LS2 communication systems: the current Spectrum and the legacy Linkin Ride Pal III. They come from different generations and should not be treated as the absent LS2 4X, which the previous description incorrectly presented as the only product.
Spectrum was co-developed with Midland for compatible LS2 helmets. LS2 specifies Bluetooth 5.1, intercom for up to four riders, a stated maximum range of 1,200 metres in suitable conditions, up to 20 hours of conversation, 40 mm RCF speakers and compatibility with phones, GPS units and TFT systems. Real-world range and battery life depend on terrain, speed, connected devices and usage.
Compatibility is model-specific. LS2's current list includes selected FF805, FF807, FF811, FF800, FF808, FF353, FF901, FF910, FF906, FF902, FF908, OF603, OF618, OF620, OF599, OF558, OF616, MX708 and MX702 families, with a second-generation restriction noted for some FF811 helmets. Check the exact helmet version before ordering.
The Linkin Ride Pal III is an older Sena-based Bluetooth system still supported by a dedicated LS2 manual and device-manager files. Its controls, firmware process, battery specification and mounting arrangement are not the same as Spectrum. Choose it only after confirming that its installation parts and helmet arrangement suit your setup.
This page keeps the current and legacy choices visible without conflating them. You can compare the wider motorcycle intercom range, browse LS2 helmets or return to all LS2 products.
No. They are different systems with different specifications and compatibility information.
No. Use LS2's compatibility list and verify the exact helmet generation.
LS2 specifies universal intercom connectivity, but available functions can vary when different brands and Bluetooth generations are paired.
