This is intended to improve shock-absorption strength while keeping weight under control. Inside, the helmet uses a new EPS construction with dual-density zones in the central and side areas, providing enhanced impact absorption and additional internal headroom.
The C5 ANC carries ECE-R 22.06 homologation with P/J double homologation, reflecting its modular design for both closed and open chin-bar configurations. A new chin-strap position is paired with SCHUBERTH's Anti-Roll-Off System (A.R.O.S.) for added stability.
Premium Audio and ANC Integration
One of the C5 ANC's defining features is its integrated communication preparation. The helmet comes with 53 mm speakers, wiring, Mesh, FM radio and Bluetooth antennas pre-installed, creating a plug-and-play platform for the SC EDGE ANC communication system.
The larger 53 mm speakers are designed to deliver high-quality audio, while the ANC system works to reduce unwanted noise. The SC EDGE ANC system is the component required to activate the helmet's Active Noise Cancellation capability, so riders should factor that into the overall package when considering the C5 ANC.
