The SCHUBERTH E2 is built for riders who want the versatility of an adventure helmet without giving up the comfort and refinement expected from SCHUBERTH. Combining a flip-up design with an adjustable adventure peak, P/J double homologation and ECE-R 22.06 approval, the E2 is designed for everything from long-distance touring to more demanding mixed-surface adventures.
Based on SCHUBERTH's current E2 specifications, the helmet uses a Direct Fiber Processing (DFP) fiberglass shell reinforced with carbon fibre, a dual-density EPS liner and a customizable seamless interior. It is also pre-wired for SCHUBERTH communication systems, making the E2 a practical choice for riders who spend long days in the saddle.
Adventure versatility in a flip-up design
The E2 is designed around a dual-purpose concept. Its peak can be removed easily and adjusted through three positions, allowing riders to change the helmet's setup depending on the type of riding and conditions. The flip-up chin bar also gives the E2 the flexibility expected from a modern modular helmet.

ECE-R 22.06 protection with P/J homologation
Safety is central to the E2 specification. SCHUBERTH lists ECE-R 22.06 homologation together with P/J double homologation, covering both closed and open chin-bar configurations. The fiberglass shell is reinforced with carbon fibre to help combine impact-absorption performance with a relatively low shell weight.

Adjustable peak and improved airflow
The removable peak is adjustable in three positions and uses a memory function. For ventilation, the E2 features dual chin-bar air intakes, including an exchangeable filter, together with an upper ventilation system and rear spoiler designed to improve air extraction. These features are intended to help maintain airflow when riding on-road or away from the tarmac.

Clear vision for changing conditions
The E2 uses SCHUBERTH's patented visor mechanism with Memory Function and a City Position mechanism designed to improve the field of view. An integrated V-lock sun visor adds another layer of practicality when light levels change during a ride. SCHUBERTH also specifies a Pinlock 120XLT anti-fog lens as included equipment for the current E2 specification.

Comfort that can be tailored to the rider
The E2 features seamless SCHUBERTH INDIVIDUAL linings and OEKO-TEX® 100 certification. The SCHUBERTH INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM is designed to allow the interior fit to be customized, which can be particularly useful for riders whose head shape does not match a standard helmet fit.

Communication ready from the start
Rather than requiring a completely separate installation setup, the E2 is pre-wired for SCHUBERTH's plug-and-play communication systems. The helmet shell comes prepared with speakers and the required Mesh, FM and Bluetooth antenna hardware, supporting compatible systems such as SC2 and SC EDGE.
Reflective details for added visibility
Reflective areas are incorporated into the wind deflector, neck roll, visor sealing and helmet stickers. SCHUBERTH says these areas are intended to improve visibility when riding with the chin bar either open or closed.
SCHUBERTH E2 sizes and weight
The current SCHUBERTH E2 specification uses two shell sizes. Shell 1 covers XXS through L, while Shell 2 covers XL through XXXL. Published weights range from 1,644 g for sizes 53/55 to 1,831 g for size 65, with the exact weight varying by size and configuration.
Is the SCHUBERTH E2 right for you?
If your riding mixes touring, commuting and adventure routes, the E2 offers a compelling combination of modular convenience, adventure styling and modern safety certification. The adjustable peak, internal sun visor, customizable lining and communication-ready construction make it especially suited to riders who want one helmet for a broad range of journeys.
