M1 open-face riding. Schuberth M1 combines an open-face helmet format with an outer visor and independently operated sun visor. Its appeal lies in that open riding feel, while its visor and interior systems still need careful model identification when you choose replacement components.
The original M1 manual describes a sun visor operated by a slider independently of the main visor. An outer visor, sun visor and anti-fog component are not interchangeable purchases. Check the exact shield system before selecting an insert, and use clear vision equipment appropriate to the conditions.
Cheek pads, head padding and neck padding serve different areas of the helmet. A peak or ventilation scoop is an exterior component with its own mounting requirements. Use the specific M1 reference and size rather than assuming M1 Pro compatibility from the appearance of a part.
The manufacturer describes a removable, washable interior and requires checks of visor function and condition. Follow the original manual’s cleaning guidance and avoid cleaners that could damage the visor. Scratched or distorted vision should be addressed before riding, not hidden by adding another tinted layer.
Visit our Leicestershire showroom for help comparing fit or identifying the model and component you need. Bring the helmet details and any relevant part reference so the discussion starts with the correct version.
