The Schuberth J2 collection currently contains four complete open-face helmets in Gloss White, Matt Black, Gloss Concrete Grey and Sigma Blue. It is a focused range for riders comparing the same J2 platform by size and finish, without replacement parts mixed into the collection.
Schuberth classifies the J2 as an ECE 22.06-homologated jet helmet with a removable chin bar for additional face protection. The chin bar does not turn the J2 into a conventional full-face or P/J flip-up helmet, so choose it for its open-face configuration and follow the manufacturer’s instructions when fitting or removing the part. The helmet is also pre-wired for compatible Schuberth communication equipment, which is separate unless a listing says otherwise.
Open-face design: the removable chin bar provides additional face protection, but the J2 remains homologated as a jet helmet. Compare that format with a flip-up model if you want a lifting chin section.
Moto Central keeps the J2 selection concise, making it easy to compare the four current finishes without accessory products obscuring the choice. Our Leicestershire showroom provides an in-person fitting option, and the team can help explain the difference between the J2 and Schuberth flip-up models.
Is the J2 a flip-up helmet?
No. Schuberth describes it as a jet helmet with a removable chin bar.
Is the communication unit included?
Pre-wired means the helmet is prepared for compatible equipment. Check the individual listing for supplied contents.
Which J2 colour should I choose?
Fit and size come first. Once those are right, compare the three solid finishes and Sigma Blue graphic.
