Adventure features in a flip-up helmet. Schuberth E1 brings an adjustable peak to a modular helmet design. Its combination of peak, outer visor and internal sun visor gives each component a distinct role, making model-specific identification important when comparing the helmet or maintaining an existing E1.
The E1 manufacturer datasheet describes a peak adjustable through three positions independently of the visor and chin section. It also identifies a closable chin vent with a removable washable filter. These are E1 design details, not evidence that E2 peaks, mechanisms or filters will fit.
A peak, a mounting disc and a visor mechanism are different purchases. Establish which piece needs attention before selecting a part, and check whether a listing supplies a pair or an individual component. Avoid forcing a similar-looking part into an assembly it was not designed for.
Removable interior components allow the E1 to be cared for according to its manual. Select replacement padding by model and size, then check the helmet’s support and stability again. A replacement comfort part cannot repair impact damage or make an unsuitable helmet fit correctly.
Visit our Leicestershire showroom for help comparing fit or identifying the model and component you need. Bring the helmet details and any relevant part reference so the discussion starts with the correct version.
