Arai Quantic is a full-face sports-touring helmet designed around comfort over longer road journeys. Its ventilation, removable interior and wider base opening are useful features to assess in person, alongside a particularly important requirement for the correct replacement visor.
The Quantic uses Arai’s PB e-cLc shell construction and carries an ECE R22.06 specification. Its flared base is intended to ease putting the helmet on and taking it off, while the removable brushed-nylon interior and Facial Contour System support the fit. Try it with your normal glasses and jacket collar, then check stability with the strap fastened.
Quantic’s ventilation includes the three-dimensional logo duct, upper intakes, brow vents and chin airflow, with rear and side exhausts. Locate the controls before riding and assess their reach with gloves. A communication installation should also preserve the fit: speaker pockets and wiring accommodation do not make every headset or mounting method suitable.
Arai’s Quantic manual specifies an original VAS-V IC Max Vision visor. Follow that model-specific instruction rather than assuming that every VAS-V item in a shared collection is suitable. Match the outer screen reference and its anti-fog insert independently. Check the supplied components before ordering a screen, lens or shade accessory.
The visor must engage its latch correctly before use; follow the manual’s release sequence instead of pulling against the lock. When replacing comfort padding, identify the Quantic size and original pad reference. The gallery illustrates complete helmets in different finishes, not a fixed list of available colours. Graphics should come after fit, and replacement pads should never be used to conceal damage or uncertainty about the helmet’s history.
Bring your helmet when identifying replacement parts, or visit our showroom with your usual glasses and riding jacket to compare the fit of a complete helmet. We can help separate the helmet, visor and interior choices.
