The Arai Horizon-X is a full-face road helmet combining a handcrafted PB-SNC2 composite shell, revised ventilation and an antimicrobial comfort interior. Moto Central's collection brings together plain finishes and graphics alongside VAS-V visor accessories, helping you compare complete helmets and identify the separate components.
The Horizon-X uses Arai's Peripherally Belted Structural Net Composite construction and carries ECE R22-06 approval. Its rounded Egg Shape profile and smooth exterior follow Arai's approach to glancing off obstacles. A double-D ring fastening provides retention.
Revised intake and exhaust ducts, a three-position chin vent and side exhausts manage airflow through the helmet. Locate the controls during a fitting and try them with your normal riding gloves so you can adjust ventilation comfortably.
The complete helmet's product specification lists a VAS-V Max Vision visor with a Pinlock insert lens included. The collection also contains outer visors, race screens, tear-offs and Pro Shade components. Match the exact part and compatibility information rather than assuming every accessory serves the same purpose.
Arai's Facial Contour System and 5 mm peel-away areas in the ear, cheek and temple padding allow fit refinement. The removable, washable interior has antimicrobial, odour-resistant and dirt-resistant properties. Begin with the correct helmet size before making any padding adjustments.
Compare understated options such as Frost Black, Matt Blue and Modern Grey with Pilot, Katakana and Oriental Vista graphics. Measure your head and use the size chart on the individual helmet listing, then assess even pressure around the crown and cheeks with the strap secured. Try your usual glasses and jacket collar during the fitting.
The current collection includes both complete Horizon-X helmets and replacement visor products. A Pinlock insert mounts inside a compatible prepared outer visor; a Pro Shade replacement shade is a separate component, and race tear-offs require the appropriate race screen. Check the full product title, intended use and supplied contents when choosing an accessory.
Speaker pockets and intercom accommodation provide space for a communication installation. Check the chosen system's fit and mounting method, keeping wiring clear of the fastening and visor mechanism. Follow Arai's care instructions when removing the lining or replacing comfort components.
Visit the showroom with your usual glasses and riding jacket to compare fit, visor clearance and the feel of the interior. When identifying a replacement component, bring your helmet or its exact model and part reference so the team can help you choose.
