Airoh REV19 offers a flip-back approach to the modular helmet, with a chin section that rotates over the crown. For commuting, touring or replacing parts on an existing helmet, start by identifying the REV19 correctly and assessing how its moving sections work with your fit and eyewear.
Airoh’s REV19 catalogue describes a thermoplastic shell, a 180-degree rotating chin guard and dual P/J approval. It combines a main visor with a retractable sun screen and micrometric fastening. Follow the model instructions for each configuration and check the chin bar is positively secured; the open position leaves the face exposed.
A modular helmet should be assessed with the chin section closed as well as open. Check forehead and cheek contact, then move your head to test whether the helmet stays securely positioned. Bring your glasses and normal riding gloves so you can judge frame clearance and find the controls while stationary.
A replacement internal sun screen is not the main external visor, and a Pinlock insert needs the correct compatible visor. REV, REV19 and other Airoh flip-up names should not be treated as universal fitment labels. Use the exact product description, helmet markings and component details together. Maintain the visor and removable interior according to the supplied instructions, and have any unreliable locking action checked before use.
Moto Central can help compare the fit or identify a replacement from your helmet and its model markings.
