Airoh Specktre is a flip-up helmet designed to bridge everyday commuting and longer road trips. Its lifting chin section, broad visor and internal sun screen make it a useful model to compare when you want modular convenience, provided the fit and controls work well for you.
Airoh specifies an HRT thermoplastic shell, P/J approval, micrometric closure and an extra-wide main visor with a Pinlock 70 insert. It also lists an internal sun visor and preparation for a communication system. Preparation is not an installed intercom: check the selected helmet and communication kit before assuming anything is included or compatible.
Try the helmet fully fastened with the chin section closed. Look for even contact around your head and test the glasses clearance, visor travel and reach to the controls. Practise opening and closing it while stationary, confirming secure engagement. Using the open configuration changes facial coverage even on a helmet with dual approval.
Outer visors, internal sun screens and anti-fog inserts are distinct components. Some inserts explicitly list Specktre and Rides compatibility, but that shared listing does not make every part common to both helmets. Match the replacement to the existing visor and model details, and check tint suitability for the conditions in which you intend to ride.
Bring your glasses and any communication-system details to assess Specktre fit, controls and the parts you need.
