The AGV Sportmodular combines a flip-front layout with a sporting touring focus. Its carbon construction and opening chin section make it a distinctive choice, but fit, operating controls and correct replacement parts remain central to ownership.
The Sportmodular is a modular helmet, not simply a full-face helmet with a larger visor. Check the chin-bar operation while stationary and follow its own manual and approval markings for use. Do not assume that instructions for Tourmodular or Streetmodular also apply.
The outer visor and internal sun visor serve different purposes. Check that both move freely and that the lowered shade clears your nose and glasses. A replacement internal shade does not replace the outer shield or its protective role.
AGV publishes a separate Sportmodular chart. Start with a head measurement, then assess pressure and stability with the strap fastened; a familiar letter size from another AGV model is only a starting point. Allow time to notice pressure at the forehead and temples.
A visor, insert lens and visor mechanism are separate items, even where their names share a family code. Match the stated helmet size group and part reference. Communication equipment also needs its specified mounting arrangement; the presence of an intercom in a collection does not establish universal fit.
Visit our showroom with your riding glasses and gloves. We can help assess the AGV Sportmodular fit or check the details of a replacement component before you choose.
