AGV Pista GP R is a full-face helmet for riders comparing a dedicated sporting setup or maintaining an existing helmet. The exact Pista generation, fit and visor assembly deserve as much attention as graphics, especially when choosing spares alongside riding equipment.
Pista GP, Pista GP R and Pista GP RR are different model names. The original Pista GP R record uses a double-D fastening system, but a later RR specification should not be used to describe every R helmet. Read the model and approval labels on the actual helmet, and use those details when comparing interiors, vents and rear spoilers.
Try the helmet while looking forward as you would over the tank, with your normal glasses if needed. The helmet should stay securely located as you move your head. Check that the visor can close and latch freely and that the padding supports your cheeks without a painful pressure point. A close fit and a clear view need to work together.
AGV’s Race 3 documentation names Pista GP R among its compatible models. Still match the individual screen reference, anti-fog insert and any tear-off provision, rather than treating all Race 3-labelled products as identical. Later approval-specific variants require their own compatibility check. The visor illustration is an example of a component; it does not promise an insert, tear-offs or other accessories in every package.
AGV lists a hydration-system accessory for Pista GP R and Pista GP RR, but that is not a promise that every helmet includes the equipment or that any drinking system will connect. Confirm the required parts before planning a track setup. Likewise, match replacement cheek pads and the illustrated Biplano spoiler to Pista GP R and the correct size or mounting arrangement. Bring the existing helmet when asking us to identify a part.
Bring your helmet when identifying replacement parts, or visit our showroom with your usual glasses and riding jacket to compare the fit of a complete helmet. We can help separate the helmet, visor and interior choices.
