The AGV AX8 Dual Evo uses a peak-and-visor arrangement suited to riders who want an adventure-style helmet. Its identity matters when buying replacement parts: AX8 Dual Evo, AX8 Evo and AX8 Naked names should not be treated as interchangeable.
The AX8 Dual Evo owner instructions cover the visor, peak and related fittings as distinct assemblies. Decide which arrangement suits your riding, then follow those instructions for the required hardware. Avoid improvised screws or missing covers when changing the setup.
The peak helps define the helmet's shape, while the outer shield is the viewing surface. The gallery shows two peak finishes and a separate breath deflector, not three complete helmets. Check whether any necessary screws or fittings are included with the particular replacement.
The manual describes a visor mounted with screws and anti-rotation plates. Correct seating matters to movement and closure. If the screen does not sit properly against its seal, seek fitting help rather than tightening harder or modifying the part.
AGV lists selected Dual shields for several named AX8 variants, but that does not make all peaks, vents or interiors interchangeable. Use the complete compatibility list for each item. When trying a helmet, assess stability with your usual eyewear and the strap secured.
Visit our showroom with your riding glasses and gloves. We can help assess the AGV AX8 Dual Evo fit or check the details of a replacement component before you choose.
