Macna Textile Trousers

Macna textile motorcycle trousers at Moto Central cover waterproof touring, modular shell, warm-weather utility and heated products. The automatic collection also includes women-specific versions, so compare the complete product title, construction and fit rather than assuming every listing is a men's waterproof trouser.

Macna separates its trousers by riding conditions and construction. Fixed membranes, direct laminates, detachable layers, ventilated shells and electrically heated garments solve different problems. Armour, insulation, connection zips and leg lengths also vary by model.

Macna Ultimax black direct-laminate textile motorcycle trousers — Ultimax is a waterproof direct-laminate touring design with a detachable thermal liner, ventilation panels and supplied knee and hip protection.

Macna Synchrone black modular textile motorcycle trousers — Synchrone combines a waterproof laminated outer shell with a ventilated mesh core trouser, allowing the layers to be configured for changing conditions.

Macna Qargon Tapered green and black ventilated utility motorcycle trousers — Qargon Tapered is a hot-weather utility design with Air Burst ventilation, cargo storage, knee protectors and provision for optional hip armour.

Choose by construction and conditions

Waterproof touring

Ultimax uses a directly laminated waterproof construction and a detachable thermal liner. Forge and Deva use different membrane and liner arrangements, so drying behaviour and seasonal flexibility should be checked separately.

Modular layering

Synchrone uses a waterproof shell and a separate mesh core trouser. Confirm which layers can be worn alone and how the armour is positioned in each approved configuration.

Hot-weather utility

Qargon and Aguano put greater emphasis on airflow and practical storage. Ventilation does not imply waterproofing, so plan a separate rain layer where required.

Heated trousers

Centre is an electrically heated textile trouser and should be assessed as part of Macna's powered clothing system. Check the required power source, controller and layering instructions on the exact product page.

Automatic collection warning: this page includes women-specific Forge, Deva and Ultimax listings alongside broader-fit products. Use Macna women's textile trousers when you want the focused three-product selection.

Waterproofing, insulation and ventilation

A waterproof membrane does not prove that a trouser has a thermal liner, and a detachable liner does not prove that the outer shell is waterproof. Direct laminate, fixed membrane and detachable shell arrangements should be read individually because they affect water absorption, drying and the way ventilation reaches the rider.

Ultimax combines a waterproof direct laminate with a removable thermal liner. Synchrone uses a separate waterproof shell and mesh core. Qargon Tapered is designed around warm-weather ventilation and should not be described as waterproof without a stated membrane.

Garment certification and impact protection

The EN 17092 class of the complete trouser and the EN 1621 level of a knee or hip protector are separate facts. Check the garment label for its class, then confirm which R.I.S.C. protectors are supplied and which are optional. Never transfer an armour level or garment class from one Macna model to the whole collection.

Knee protectors should stay centred over the kneecap with the leg bent. Hip inserts must match the designated pockets and sit flat. Where a product is prepared for optional armour, browse Macna body armour and confirm compatibility rather than buying by shape alone.

How textile motorcycle trousers should fit

Allow for the intended layers

Try the trousers with the thermal liner and base layer you expect to use. Removing a liner creates extra room, so repeat the armour-position check in both configurations.

Set the knee protectors

Adjust the protector height where the model permits it. Both knees should remain covered when seated, standing and moving around the motorcycle.

Check waist and seat

Use the waist adjusters without gathering excessive fabric. The seat should stay secure without pulling down at the back when reaching for the handlebars.

Test the boot overlap

Close the lower leg with the intended boots. Avoid stacked fasteners, pressure points at the shin and loose fabric near the foot controls.

Jacket connection and complete-outfit fit

Several Macna trousers use short or long connecting zips, but brand name alone does not guarantee that any jacket will connect. Compare the corresponding zip length and intended pairing, then join both garments before checking the riding position.

Browse Macna textile motorcycle jackets. The joined outfit should not lift the trousers, pull the jacket down across the shoulders or expose a gap at the lower back.

Heated products need a system check

A heated trouser must be compatible with its intended battery or motorcycle power supply and control equipment. Follow Macna's current heated-gear instructions for connection order, permitted layers and washing. Do not fold or compress heating elements during storage.

Heated clothing adds warmth but does not replace the need to check protective certification, supplied armour or weather construction. These remain separate product specifications.

Care for membranes and removable layers

Follow the care label, remove electronic components and protectors where instructed, close zips and fasteners and avoid fabric softener. Membranes and direct laminates can be damaged by unsuitable detergents or excessive heat. Let each layer dry fully before reassembly and storage.

Why compare Macna trousers at Moto Central?

Moto Central brings the live Macna trouser families together so riders can compare waterproof construction, removable layers, ventilation, heating and armour without treating the range as one generic specification. Product pages show current colour, size and leg-length variants.

Our team can help check waist fit, knee position, liner space, boot overlap and jacket compatibility. Riders wanting to assess the complete outfit can visit the Moto Central showroom with their normal riding boots and base layer.

Customer questions

Are all Macna textile trousers waterproof?

No. Waterproofing depends on the exact construction. Ventilated Qargon products should not be treated as membrane trousers unless the individual specification says so.

Do all Macna trousers include hip protectors?

No. Some include hip protection while others provide pockets for an optional insert. Check the supplied armour for the exact model.

Is a direct laminate the same as a removable membrane?

No. A direct laminate is bonded into the outer construction, while a removable membrane is a separate layer. They behave differently in rain and during drying.

Can the Centre heated trousers run from any battery?

Use only the power and control equipment specified by Macna for the exact product. Check compatibility before connecting the garment.

Does this collection contain women's trousers?

Yes. The automatic main collection includes several women-specific listings, which are grouped separately on the focused women's page.
