Macna women's textile motorcycle trousers at Moto Central currently include Forge, Deva and Ultimax. All three are designed for wet or changeable riding, but their membrane construction, thermal layers, armour package and leg-length options are not identical.

The best choice depends on more than waist size. Compare how the waterproof layer is built, what protection is supplied, whether insulation can be removed, how the knee position adjusts and which jacket connection is fitted.

Macna Forge women's black waterproof textile motorcycle trousers — Forge uses a fixed waterproof membrane, detachable thermal liner, Level 2 knee protectors and pockets for optional hip armour.

Macna Deva women's black two-layer waterproof motorcycle trousers — Deva is a two-layer trouser with a fixed waterproof membrane, detachable liner, Level 1 knee protectors and provision for optional hip protection.

Macna Ultimax women's black direct-laminate waterproof motorcycle trousers — Ultimax uses a directly laminated waterproof construction, removable thermal liner and a choice of regular or short leg variants in the current listing.

Compare the three model families

Forge

A waterproof touring design with a fixed membrane and removable thermal lining. Waist adjustment, a short connecting zip and grip detail at the seat support everyday and longer-distance use.

Deva

Another fixed-membrane two-layer option, but with a different armour package and fit specification. Its detachable liner allows insulation to be removed as conditions change.

Ultimax

A direct-laminate option intended to reduce outer-shell water absorption. The detachable thermal liner and listed leg-length variants make fit and climate checks especially important.

Broader Macna range

For men's, unisex, modular, heated and ventilated alternatives, use the main Macna textile trouser collection.

Waterproof does not mean identical: Forge and Deva use fixed waterproof membranes, while Ultimax uses a directly laminated construction. All may be intended for wet conditions, but water absorption, drying and ventilation can differ.

Armour and garment certification

Forge is listed with Level 2 knee protectors and pockets for optional hip protection. Deva is listed with Level 1 knee protectors and hip-protector pockets. Check the Ultimax product page and labels for its exact supplied armour rather than copying specifications from the men's version or another model year.

The complete garment's EN 17092 class is a separate check from the EN 1621 rating of the knee or hip protectors. Use the labels supplied with the exact trouser. If hip inserts are optional, confirm the correct shape and pocket compatibility through Macna body armour.

Fit women-specific textile trousers on the bike

Measure waist, hips and inside leg

Use the Macna chart for the exact model. Everyday clothing size is only a starting point, particularly when different leg lengths or internal layers are offered.

Check both knees

Sit in the riding position and centre each protector over the kneecap. Use any height adjustment before moving to a different waist size.

Allow for the thermal liner

Check fit with the liner installed and removed. Extra space after removal must not allow the knee or hip protectors to move away from their intended position.

Test the lower leg with boots

Fasten the trousers with the intended riding boots. The closures should not stack into a hard pressure point or interfere with ankle movement.

Fixed membrane or direct laminate?

A fixed membrane sits behind the outer shell, so the shell can absorb more rain even while the membrane prevents water reaching the rider. A direct laminate bonds the waterproof functional layer more closely to the outer fabric, which can alter water uptake and drying behaviour.

Neither construction guarantees the same warmth. Forge, Deva and Ultimax use detachable insulation, but liner thickness, available space and ventilation should be checked on the individual product page.

Connect the trousers to the right jacket

A connecting zip can help keep a jacket and trouser together, but compatibility depends on the zip length and matching half. Browse Macna women's textile jackets, join the garments and check that neither piece is pulled out of position when seated.

The jacket should overlap securely at the lower back without lifting the trousers or dragging across the shoulders. If the zip is not compatible, do not force it or rely on colour and brand name as proof of a match.

Layering for changing conditions

Use a smooth base layer that does not bunch beneath the knee or hip protectors. Add insulation through the designed liner system rather than oversized everyday clothing that changes armour position. On warmer days, remove the thermal liner and repeat the fit check.

Care for waterproof Macna trousers

Follow the label for the exact garment. Remove protectors and electronic accessories only where instructed, close fasteners, avoid fabric softener and use a cleaner suitable for waterproof motorcycle clothing. Do not apply high heat unless the manufacturer explicitly permits it.

Dry the shell and removable liner fully before reassembly. Inspect the membrane, seams, zips and protector pockets regularly, particularly after a long wet journey or any impact.

Why compare Macna women's trousers at Moto Central?

Moto Central presents the three women-specific listings together so riders can compare fixed-membrane and laminate constructions, liner systems, knee protection and leg lengths without wading through unrelated products. Live product pages show current variants and detailed specifications.

Our team can help assess waist and hip fit, knee location, boot overlap and jacket connection as one outfit. Riders who want a hands-on check can visit the Moto Central showroom with their usual boots and base layer.

Customer questions

Are all three Macna women's trousers waterproof?

They are listed with waterproof constructions, but Forge and Deva use fixed membranes while Ultimax uses a direct laminate. Their behaviour and care are not identical.

Do all three include the same knee armour?

No. Forge and Deva are listed with different knee-protector levels. Confirm the exact Ultimax armour and all garment labels before comparing.

Do the thermal liners change the fit?

Yes. Removing a liner creates extra room, so recheck waist security and armour position with each intended configuration.

Can these trousers connect to any Macna jacket?

No. Confirm the compatible zip and matching garment rather than assuming every Macna jacket will connect.
