Shop motorcycle tie-down straps and transport accessories at Moto Central, including ratchet straps, autolock tie-downs, handlebar support straps, soft loops, wheel braces, tyre restraints, anchor rings and fixed runner-strip components.
This collection contains equipment for different parts of a transport setup. Safe restraint depends on the motorcycle, trailer or van, anchor points, strap ratings, direction of pull and correct use of every component.
Motorcycle transport straps and anchor equipment
Ratchet and autolock straps
These provide adjustable tension between approved motorcycle and vehicle anchor points. Compare working capacity, strap length, webbing width, hooks and locking mechanism.
Soft loops and handlebar straps
These can create attachment positions while reducing direct metal-hook contact. They do not make every handlebar, fork or frame point suitable for restraint.
Wheel braces and tyre restraints
Wheel-support products help locate part of the motorcycle but may require separate tie-downs and fixed mounting. Read the complete system requirements.
Runner strips, rings and anchors
Fixed anchor hardware must suit the installation surface, fasteners, loading direction and transport vehicle. Individual components are not complete restraint systems.
How to choose motorcycle tie-down equipment
Plan the complete restraint system
Identify the approved points on the motorcycle and transport vehicle, the direction of each strap and how the front, rear and wheels will be controlled.
Check every rating
Use the manufacturer's stated working capacity and never substitute an unmarked or damaged strap. The lowest-rated part can limit the complete setup.
Protect the motorcycle
Keep hooks, buckles and webbing away from paint, brake hoses, wiring, controls and sharp edges. Use approved soft loops or protection where appropriate.
Inspect before and during travel
Check webbing, stitching, hooks, ratchets and anchors before loading. Recheck tension and motorcycle position after the initial movement and during the journey.
Transport safely: follow the motorcycle, strap, trailer or van and anchor-system instructions together. Do not use elastics or luggage straps as substitutes for rated motorcycle transport restraints, and do not rely on one strap or an unsuitable motorcycle component.
Why buy motorcycle tie-downs from Moto Central?
Moto Central offers individual straps, multi-strap sets, soft attachment loops, wheel restraints and anchor hardware. Our team can help distinguish a complete pair or kit from one component and compare the connection style and intended role within the transport setup.
Order online or visit our Wolvey, Leicestershire showroom. Contact us before travelling if you want us to confirm one exact strap or anchor product is currently available.
Motorcycle tie-down questions
Can elastic straps secure a motorcycle in a van?
No. Use equipment specifically rated and intended for motorcycle transport, following the complete restraint-system instructions.
Can I attach a strap anywhere on the handlebars?
No. Bar construction, controls, cables and the motorcycle manufacturer's guidance determine whether a handlebar attachment method is suitable.
Are anchor rings a complete tie-down system?
No. They are individual components and need a suitable mounting structure, fasteners, straps and overall restraint plan.
Should straps be checked during a journey?
Yes. Recheck the motorcycle and restraint tension after the load settles and at suitable intervals, following the equipment instructions.
