Medium motorcycle helmets cover a broad choice of riding styles, but M is a size designation rather than a universal fit. Use this collection to compare options, then confirm the measurement range and fitting instructions for the precise helmet you are considering.
Standard Medium and split Medium sizes
Some helmet ranges use one Medium size; others divide this part of the range into MS and ML. These systems are not interchangeable. AGV's published charts, for example, distinguish its current standard sizes from model-specific split sizes. A helmet described as Medium in one range should not be converted to MS or ML by guesswork.
Compare helmets under the same conditions
Keep your measurement and fitting routine consistent when trying different models. Fasten the strap, check that the helmet sits correctly and allow enough time to notice discomfort. A comparison is less useful if one helmet is properly secured while another is only rested on the head. Use the helmet sizing guide to prepare for a fitting.
Look beyond the size filter
A Medium shortlist may include helmets with quite different visor arrangements, fastening systems and ventilation controls. Decide which features suit your journeys, then check the chosen version's specification and accessory compatibility. Do not assume an image shows every included accessory or that a communications recess means a headset is supplied.
