Richa textile motorcycle trousers should work with your jacket, boots and the conditions you ride in. A touring pair, a ventilated summer design and a rain overtrouser can all use textile materials while doing different jobs. Compare the construction and fit of the actual garment, including what protection and liners are supplied.

Richa Infinity 3 Trouser Black — Infinity 3: a textile trouser design with removable weather and thermal layers.

Richa Air Vent Evo 2 Textile Trouser Black — Air Vent Evo 2: a separate textile trouser design.

Richa Atlantic 2 Touring Gore-Tex Trouser Black — Atlantic 2 GORE-TEX: another approach to touring trousers.

Removable layers and fixed weather protection

Look beyond the waterproof label to find out where the membrane sits. A removable rain liner allows a different setup when it is taken out, while a laminated garment uses a different construction. Richa’s Infinity 3 trousers are an example with separate removable waterproof and thermal liners. Do not transfer that specification to similarly named Pro or Adventure versions without checking their own details.

Make room for the movement of riding

Sit with your knees bent and check the seat, crotch and waistband together. Knee armour should sit where intended in that position, and ankle openings need to work with your chosen boots. Try the complete liner arrangement you expect to use in colder conditions. If a model offers different leg lengths, compare them rather than accepting bunching at the ankle or a hem that rises too far when seated.

Details that matter on a longer journey

Check access to vents and pockets, the waist adjustment and any supported braces before choosing a pair for touring. Establish whether both knee and hip protectors are included and what compatible upgrades are available. A connection zip must match the jacket. Rain overtrousers are an extra weather layer over your riding kit, so do not assume they include the armour of a dedicated motorcycle trouser. Follow the individual washing and reproofing instructions.

Compare compatible Richa textile jackets and Richa motorcycle jeans when planning your riding wardrobe.
