The Shoei Neotec 2, or Neotec II, is a modular touring helmet with a lifting face cover and integrated sun visor. Its appeal is the convenience of a flip-up design alongside a more enclosed riding configuration. Fit should be assessed with the face cover closed and the retention system properly secured.
Shoei's Neotec II documentation describes a face-cover locking system and micro-ratchet fastening. Check that both operate as intended before riding. Follow the exact helmet's manual and approval markings for permitted configurations instead of assuming every flip-up helmet may be used in the same way.
The model has manufacturer-described SRL/SRL2 attachment provision. Establish the precise device and fitting requirements when adding or transferring a system. The Neotec name spans several generations, so a listing for another version is not enough evidence of compatibility.
Removable interior parts and noise-isolating cheek-pad arrangements are features of the model. The gallery shows a visor, cheek pads and centre pad as separate service items. Match each part to the correct helmet and shell size, follow the cleaning instructions and reassess fit after refitting. New comfort padding cannot repair an impact-damaged helmet.
