Scorpion EXO-100 is an open-face design with a retractable sun visor and removable peak. Its uncluttered shape offers a different experience from a full-face helmet, while fit, fastening and suitable eye coverage remain central to the choice.
The EXO-100 does not have the fixed protective chin bar of a full-face helmet. A peak or retractable visor does not change that coverage. Choose the helmet format for the riding you intend to do, and assess the actual fit rather than relying on the appearance or familiar size label alone.
The original technical sheet lists a polycarbonate shell, triple-density comfort pads and a micrometric buckle. Check that the helmet sits securely and that the strap can be adjusted correctly. Comfort padding and the protective structure are different parts; replacing a small accessory does not renew the helmet as a whole.
EXO-100 replacement visor listings can describe different tints. Identify the exact component and its model fitment, then follow the light-condition guidance supplied with it. A clear, amber or smoke finish is a choice of lens, not evidence that the part suits another open-face model. Keep the visor clean and check its movement before riding.
Visit our Leicestershire showroom for help with helmet fit or identifying a replacement component. Bring the helmet details and any part references so we can start with the correct model.
