Scorpion Belfast Evo helmets pair an open-face profile with retro styling and a retractable sun visor. The appeal is a less enclosed feel and a classic silhouette, but the absence of a chin bar is an important practical distinction. Choose the helmet around your journeys, eye protection and fit, as well as its finish.
The Belfast Evo leaves the lower face exposed. A sun visor does not provide the physical coverage of a full-face chin bar or a deep outer shield. Consider weather exposure and the eye protection you need for your route, especially if your riding includes longer journeys as well as short urban trips.
Scorpion describes a shaped interior and the retractable SpeedView sun visor for the Evo. Try both with your usual glasses, checking that neither presses on the bridge of your nose or temples. The helmet should remain stable with its retention system secured. A comfortable lining cannot compensate for choosing a shell that is too loose.
Belfast Evo, Carbon variants and later Belfast generations have different model descriptions. Confirm the precise version when comparing construction, accessories or replacement components. Regional manufacturer specifications should not be used as a guarantee of UK supplied contents. Browse Scorpion helmets if a larger shield or full-face design would better meet your needs.
