Two-part safety-shell construction
The inner boot uses a non-twisting aramid hard shell, a strong hinge joint, shock-absorbing inserts around the calf and heel and an anatomically formed heel bed. Its GORE-TEX More Season membrane supplies the waterproof and breathable layer.
The outer boot is made from soft, hydrophobic cowhide and includes an adjustable calf fastening, padded shin protection, flexible instep and heel zones, a reinforced gear-change area and air intake. Daytona also specifies a heel reflector, reinforced inner sole, rounded racing outsole and replaceable titanium slider.
Fit and intended use
This is a tall sports boot with an official shaft height of approximately 32 cm. Allow time to position the articulated inner correctly, then adjust the outer fastening around your leathers and calf. It is intended for riders prioritising sports protection with waterproofing, rather than the lighter feel of a short road boot.
