The AGV X70 pairs the outline of a traditional open-face helmet with a fibreglass shell and removable interior. Its appeal is the uncluttered shape and open riding experience, so eye protection and the amount of facial coverage deserve as much thought as the finish.
An open-face helmet leaves the chin exposed. Compare that layout with a full-face helmet before choosing, especially if your riding includes faster roads or frequent wet-weather journeys. A peak or visor changes comfort and visibility, but does not turn the X70 into a full-face design.
The X70 is designed to accommodate goggles. Try your chosen eyewear with the helmet secured, checking the seal around your face and clearance at the nose. If choosing a screen or peak, confirm the exact X70 fixing arrangement and accessory reference rather than assuming all retro accessories fit.
The removable lining makes cleaning practical, but replacement crown and cheek padding must suit the shell and size. A helmet should stay stable when you turn your head without isolated painful pressure. Take time to assess the fit with your usual glasses.
Follow AGV's care instructions for the shell, lining and any fitted screen. Inspect accessory fasteners and the strap as part of routine checks. A new cosmetic part cannot establish the condition of an older helmet with an unknown history.
Visit our showroom with your riding glasses and gloves. We can help assess the AGV X70 fit or check the details of a replacement component before you choose.
