AGV Veloce S offers a full-face format with a double-D strap, adjustable ventilation and a replaceable comfort interior. For road riders and existing owners, the useful comparison is how the helmet fits, how the visor operates and which model-specific components support continued use.
The Veloce S specification includes a quick-release visor mechanism and removable lining and cheek pads. Try the helmet with its strap correctly fastened and pay attention to the crown as well as the cheeks. Comfortable padding should support a stable fit; it should not allow the helmet to shift independently when you turn your head.
The original Veloce S manual describes a central visor lock with a micro-opening position as well as full opening. Familiarise yourself with the control while stationary, following that manual rather than pulling against a locked screen. The mechanism and seal should work together smoothly after a visor change. A reluctant latch deserves inspection before the next ride.
AGV names Veloce S in its Race 2 visor documentation. Check the individual version for anti-fog insert preparation and supplied equipment: a replacement screen and a separate Pinlock lens are different purchases. Match the lens to that screen, not just to the helmet brand. The illustrated clear visor, top pad and cheek padding show three distinct component types.
Veloce S comfort pads are listed separately by size in AGV’s parts documentation. Record the helmet size and the original pad reference before replacing either the crown or cheek section. Do not assume that GT Veloce padding is identical because the names are similar. Follow the care instructions and refit every attachment correctly; if the helmet’s underlying condition is uncertain, have it assessed before buying replacement padding.
Bring your helmet when identifying replacement parts, or visit our showroom with your usual glasses and riding jacket to compare the fit of a complete helmet. We can help separate the helmet, visor and interior choices.
