AGV Stealth SV brings a fixed chin bar and an internal sun visor together in a road helmet designed for changing light. Choosing equipment for this older model starts with identifying the helmet itself: Stealth, Stealth SV and other AGV helmets with similar-looking screens should not be treated as one interchangeable system.
The outer visor forms the main barrier against wind and debris, while the drop-down shade manages brightness. Check both through their full movement before a journey. A replacement sun visor will not repair a damaged outer screen, and a coloured outer visor does not replace the need to plan for darker conditions.
The original Stealth SV uses a double-D fastening and has removable comfort padding. Assess the fit with the strap correctly secured, checking for steady contact around the head without a concentrated pressure point. Worn cheek pads can change how the helmet feels; replacing them calls for the correct model and size rather than simply choosing a thicker pad.
The illustrated GT2 screens show the distinction between an outer visor and an internal shade. Before ordering, compare the existing part code, fixing points and exact helmet designation against the replacement listing. A collection association is a useful starting point, but it is not proof that every visor size or mechanism fits every Stealth SV.
Lift off road dirt gently before cleaning the visor and follow AGV's care instructions for the padding and shell. Inspect seals and moving parts as well as the clear viewing area. Fresh accessories can improve everyday usability, but cannot establish that a helmet with an uncertain impact or storage history remains suitable for riding.
