The AGV K5 Jet offers an open-face format with a large outer visor. It suits riders who deliberately prefer that layout, while requiring a different assessment of face coverage from a full-face helmet.
A long visor can shelter the face from airflow, but it is not a structural chin bar. Consider the exposure of an open-face design alongside comfort and visibility. Try the helmet with your usual glasses rather than assuming the large opening guarantees a good fit.
The K5 Jet manual describes visor catches, a mechanism and lower locating features. The screen should seat and move as intended after fitting. If alignment is wrong, check the specified procedure and component rather than forcing the visor closed.
The gallery illustrates City 17 outer visors and a separate anti-fog insert. The insert attaches to a compatible shield; it is not a standalone replacement visor. Match the exact lens shape and pin arrangement, and check the finish's usage markings.
Keep K5 Jet and K5 Jet Evo separate when checking size charts, approvals or replacement parts. Shared styling is not a compatibility statement. For interior replacements, preserve the intended size and fit rather than selecting padding solely by its appearance.
Visit our showroom with your riding glasses and gloves. We can help assess the AGV K5 Jet fit or check the details of a replacement component before you choose.
