AGV K5 Jet Evo pairs an open-face helmet shape with a long outer visor and an internal sun shade. Its carbon-and-fibreglass shell, adjustable ventilation and practical fastening make it a model to consider for road and urban use, while the absence of a protective chin bar remains a central buying decision.
The extended visor helps manage wind around the face, but it is not a structural chin guard. Consider the coverage you want before comparing colours or accessories. Try the helmet with the visor down and your usual eyewear, checking the view towards mirrors and instruments as well as the space around your nose.
The Evo has a separate sun-visor slider and an outer visor with a magnetic fastening arrangement. Its upper vents and rear extractor can be adjusted. Familiarise yourself with each control while stationary, and check that the screens move freely without contacting your glasses.
The K5 Jet Evo is distinct from the earlier K5 Jet. Check the exact model name, screen reference and any size distinction when selecting a replacement. AGV describes the Evo outer visor as prepared for a Pinlock 70 insert, available separately; confirm the contents of the particular listing rather than assuming that preparation means an insert is supplied.
The steel micrometric closure allows adjustment, but the helmet still needs even, secure contact around the head. Try it with the strap fastened and the clothing you normally wear. Communication preparation does not guarantee compatibility with every headset, so establish mounting and speaker arrangements before choosing equipment or disturbing the interior.
Visit our showroom with your riding glasses and gloves. We can help assess the AGV K5 Jet Evo fit or check the details of a replacement component before you choose.
