The AGV K3 SV is a thermoplastic full-face helmet with a drop-down sun visor. It sits within a family of similarly named AGV models, making the SV suffix and the exact generation important when choosing a helmet or replacing its components.
Do not treat the K3 SV as another name for every K3. Match the helmet label to the technical information you use, especially when comparing approvals, interiors or visor mechanisms. A later K3's features should not be carried over to this design.
The internal sun visor moves inside the main outer screen. Try the full movement with your normal eyewear, and make sure neither the shade nor the frames create pressure at the nose. Its control should be usable without disturbing the fit.
A Pinlock insert is fitted to a compatible outer visor; it is not the outer visor itself. Identify the screen already fitted and its size or generation before choosing an insert. Similar GT-family names alone do not establish that two parts will seal together.
Cheek pads, crown padding and the wind protector are distinct components. Replace them using the exact model and size information, then reassess the whole fit. New lining does not erase impact damage or establish the serviceability of a helmet with an unknown history.
Visit our showroom with your riding glasses and gloves. We can help assess the AGV K3 SV fit or check the details of a replacement component before you choose.
