The AGV GP Tech is a full-face design with a carbon-and-aramid shell and double-D retention. For riders choosing equipment for this model, the key distinction is between looking after its individual components and assessing whether the complete helmet is still suitable to use.
The GP Tech combines a fixed chin bar, adjustable ventilation and a removable liner. Assess the view through the eye opening in your normal riding posture, including when leaning forward. Graphics associated with racing do not determine how the helmet fits your head.
An outer visor, its mechanism and a tear-off or race-kit accessory do different jobs. Match the full component reference to the GP Tech and check what each package contains. Do not assume a similarly named Pista or Corsa part belongs to this older design.
Front, chin and rear vent assemblies are not interchangeable simply because their colours match. Compare the fixing points and the location on your helmet before ordering. Replace damaged parts using the model instructions, without modifying the shell or impact liner.
Fresh padding or a replacement visor can improve comfort or visibility, but cannot renew the impact-absorbing structure. If the helmet has suffered an impact or its history is uncertain, seek advice about the complete helmet before investing in cosmetic restoration.
Visit our showroom with your riding glasses and gloves. We can help assess the AGV GP Tech fit or check the details of a replacement component before you choose.
