AGV Fluid ownership centres on the fit and visibility of an open-face helmet. When replacing its screen, the helmet name alone is not enough: the visor's size group and its stated model compatibility both need to match.
AGV explicitly lists an Orbyt/Fluid clear shield for M, L and XL helmets. That is a defined compatibility group, not a promise that one shield fits every Fluid size. Check your helmet label and the full replacement listing before ordering.
The illustrated clear and mirrored screens show different finishes of an outer visor. Select a finish for the conditions and permitted use stated on that item; colour alone does not establish suitability for darkness or road use. A scratched clear screen deserves attention too.
After fitting the correct shield using the Fluid instructions, check that it raises and closes smoothly. Wear your usual eyewear during a fitting check and make sure the helmet remains stable when fastened. An open-face visor does not provide the chin enclosure of a full-face shell.
A new visor refreshes the viewing surface, not the condition of the shell, retention system or impact liner. Inspect those separately. If a mounting point is damaged, identify the correct repair route rather than adapting a similar-looking visor or mechanism.
Visit our showroom with your riding glasses and gloves. We can help assess the AGV Fluid fit or check the details of a replacement component before you choose.
