The AGV AX9 brings an adventure-style peak and a full outer visor to journeys that mix open roads with rougher terrain. Choosing the right AX9 means checking both the helmet generation and the configuration you intend to use, rather than choosing by graphics alone.
AGV describes the AX9 around removable peak and visor arrangements. Think about your riding position, motorcycle screen and preferred eye protection before changing configuration. Follow the instructions for your exact helmet, retaining the specified covers and fixings rather than leaving an incomplete assembly.
AX9 appears in both ECE 22.05 and ECE 22.06 versions, with different size charts. An older AX9 does not acquire the newer approval through a replacement visor or peak. Read the label and use that version when checking specifications or ordering parts.
Bring your glasses and, if relevant, goggles when checking fit. Confirm that the helmet stays stable with the strap fastened and that the eye opening suits your normal head position. A peak changes the shape exposed to airflow, so consider how it interacts with your bike's screen.
Peaks, visors, vents and interior pads perform different jobs. Match the full component reference and size group before buying; a similar finish is not proof of compatibility. Keep clear vision and secure fit ahead of cosmetic changes.
Visit our showroom with your riding glasses and gloves. We can help assess the AGV AX9 fit or check the details of a replacement component before you choose.
