Icon Helmet Spare Parts

Icon helmet spare parts are model-specific components for current and legacy helmets. This collection includes comfort liners, chin curtains, side plates, pivot kits, airfoils, spoilers, peaks, covers, straps and smaller trim pieces. A similar shape or colour is not proof of compatibility.

Before ordering, identify the full helmet model, approval generation, helmet size and part number. Some systems are shared across named families, while others are unique to one model. Airflite ECE 22.05 and later-generation parts must not be mixed unless Icon or the product listing explicitly confirms compatibility.

How to identify the correct Icon spare

• Helmet family: check the full model name, such as Airflite, Airform, Airframe Pro, Airmada, Domain, Threshold, Ultraflite, Variant Pro or Alliance.
• Approval generation: where the title states ECE 22.05 or ECE 22.06, match the marking inside your helmet.
• Part family: Optics, Proshield, Airflite, Domain, Threshold and Ultraflite components are separate systems.
• Size: liners and cheek pads can vary by helmet size and shell grouping. Select the size specified for the part.
• Finish: Rubatone, RST and graphic-specific external pieces may fit mechanically but differ in colour or surface treatment.
• Part number: compare the manufacturer code whenever it is available.

Airflite parts and generation checks

The Airflite selection includes crown liners, comfort-liner kits, chin curtains, side plates, rear spoilers and Airfoil accessories. Product titles can also identify an ECE generation. Icon publishes specific Airflite Airfoil part numbers, and Moto Central retains the ECE 22.05 wording where it is supplied for the part.

An exterior graphic does not reliably identify a helmet's approval generation. Read the approval label inside the helmet and match the full spare-part title. For liners, use both the helmet version and size rather than choosing solely by colour.

Optics and Proshield mechanisms

Icon states that the Optics shield family is compatible with Airframe Pro, Airform and Airmada helmets. The corresponding Optics pivot kit in this collection names those three families. Older Airframe, Alliance and Alliance GT helmets use Proshield-related parts, and their pivot kit is a different product.

Side plates are decorative covers fitted around compatible visor mechanisms. They are not a substitute for damaged pivot hardware. Match the shield family, mechanism and side plates as a complete system.

Threshold, Domain and Ultraflite

Threshold is an ECE 22.06 modular helmet with its own shield, internal Dropshield, Hydradry liner and model-specific trim components. Domain uses its own Domain shield and removable Hydradry interior, while Ultraflite uses the Ultrashield, Dropshield Ultra and a three-piece Hydradry liner. Components from these newer families are not interchangeable merely because they carry the Icon name.

Comfort liners and cheek pads

Replacement interiors can refresh worn or damaged soft components, but they must match the helmet and size. Compare the removed liner's labels and fastening layout with the replacement. Fit every press stud, tab and hook-and-loop section without stretching the material across the EPS.

• Choose crown liners and cheek pads by the exact model and listed size.
• Check left and right orientation before fastening.
• Keep straps, emergency-release tabs and ventilation channels unobstructed.
• After fitting, confirm the helmet remains secure and even around the head.

When a spare part is appropriate

Replaceable trim, comfort interiors and mechanisms can address normal wear or a missing detachable component. They do not repair a cracked shell, damaged EPS, distorted chin bar or other structural damage. If a helmet has received a significant impact, follow the manufacturer guidance and replace the helmet when required rather than attempting a cosmetic repair.
