Motorcycle tyre warmers are used to prepare suitable tyres before track sessions. The right choice starts with the tyres themselves: their sizes, construction and manufacturer's warming guidance determine what you need. Then compare warmer coverage, temperature control and the electrical supply at the circuit, rather than choosing by bike capacity alone.

Read the tyre guidance first
A warmer's thermostat setting is not a universal target for every tyre. Pirelli, for example, publishes tyre-specific tables covering warming conditions and separate cold and hot pressures. Check the current guidance for your exact tyre, including compound where relevant, and ask the tyre supplier if the required routine is unclear.
Road tyres, track-focused treaded tyres, slicks and wet-weather racing tyres should not automatically share a warming programme. Warmers also do not remove the need to assess grip, weather and track conditions as you begin a session.
Size and control are separate choices
Fit the whole tyre
Check front and rear dimensions against the warmer's specified fitment. A 17-inch wheel alone is not enough information: tyre width and profile affect coverage. Confirm whether the listing is a pair, front-only or rear-only item.
Check the heating system
Compare fixed-temperature and adjustable designs by their actual operating range and controls. Indicator lights and displays differ between models. Choose equipment whose instructions are compatible with the tyre manufacturer's required preparation.
Prepare the paddock setup
Check voltage, plug type and power requirements before travelling. UK and European plug versions are not interchangeable specifications. Use the electrical protection required by the warmer manufacturer and circuit, and keep cables clear of the working area.
BikeTek's fitting guidance calls for suitable stands with both wheels clear of the ground, even coverage and no folded or overlapping heating sections. Check clearance around the chain, sprockets and mudguards. Disconnect before removing the warmers and follow their cooling and storage instructions.
Browse paddock stands and compatible stand bobbins alongside your warmers. The complete setup should let you fit and remove them without rushing or snagging the material.
Bring the tyre details
Give Moto Central the front and rear tyre sizes, exact tyre model and preferred plug type when asking about warmers. Check with our showroom before visiting to compare a particular set.
