Motorcycle Paddock Stand Bobbins
11 products
Showing 1 - 11 of 11 products
Motorcycle paddock stand bobbins create a defined lifting point for a compatible rear stand fitted with hook or fork adaptors. This collection covers standard bobbins, rotating Oxford Spinners, larger slider or spool designs and a rear-stand fork attachment. The correct choice depends on the motorcycle, thread and lifting equipment, not colour or diameter alone.
The current range includes Bike It, BikeTek and Oxford products in M6, M8, M10 and M12 sizes. Thread pitches include 1.0, 1.25 and 1.5, with separate Kawasaki-type and BMW S1000RR-labelled fittings. Always match the exact product reference to the motorcycle model and year.
Which type of paddock stand fitting do you need?
Standard bobbins
Standard screw-in bobbins provide a contact point for compatible hooks or forks on a rear paddock stand. They are available in several sizes and finishes, but the motorcycle's mounting specification is the deciding factor.
Oxford Spinners
Oxford describes its Spinners as rotating paddock stand bobbins using a bearing. Standard, Premium and Extended names identify different products, and the catalogue includes multiple diameter and pitch combinations. Do not transfer the construction or dimensions of one Spinner to another.
Swingarm sliders and spools
BikeTek slider and spool products have larger or differently shaped bodies than conventional bobbins. Some are offered in several variants, while others are limited to one thread or a Kawasaki-type application. A product called a slider should not be treated as a guarantee against crash damage.
Bobbin forks for the stand
The Oxford Bobbin Forks product in this collection attaches to a compatible rear paddock stand. It is not a threaded bobbin for the motorcycle. Check the stand's attachment format as well as the bike-side fitting.
How to match thread size and pitch
A designation such as M10 gives the nominal thread diameter, but M10 x 1.25 and M10 x 1.5 are different threads. M8 products in the collection include both 1.0 and 1.25 pitches. An apparently similar bolt can start in the mounting point and still damage the thread if the pitch or depth is wrong.
- Confirm the motorcycle model, year and the manufacturer's specified bobbin thread.
- Match both diameter and pitch, including whether the product is a fine-thread version.
- Check usable thread depth, shoulder position, spacers and clearance around the swingarm.
- Confirm that the rear stand has compatible hooks or bobbin forks and that their width can be set correctly.
- Check whether fixing bolts, spacers or stand adaptors are supplied with the exact product.

Customer questions
How do I know which bobbin fits my motorcycle?
Use the motorcycle manufacturer's fitment information for the exact model and year, then match the required diameter, pitch and mounting arrangement to the product listing. Do not rely on make alone.
Are M10 bobbins all the same?
No. This collection includes M10 products with 1.25 and 1.5 pitches, plus standard and Kawasaki-type arrangements. They are not interchangeable simply because the diameter is M10.
Do paddock stand bobbins fit every rear stand?
No. The stand needs compatible hooks or bobbin forks with the correct adjustment range. Some rear stands instead use cups beneath the swingarm.
Can I leave bobbins fitted to the motorcycle?
Follow the product and motorcycle guidance. Check clearance, security and condition regularly, and replace damaged fittings or fasteners before using them as lifting points.
