Shoei motorcycle helmets cover focused designs for road touring, sports riding, track use, commuting, open-face riding, adventure travel and motocross. Moto Central's helmet-only Shoei collection includes current models, graphics and sizes without mixing in visors or spare parts.
The right Shoei is determined first by fit and helmet type, then by features. A GT-Air 3 and NXR2 are both full-face road helmets but take different approaches to sun protection and communication systems. Neotec 3 adds a flip-front chin bar, while J-Cruise 3 and J·O2 are open-face designs with no fixed chin protection.
A premium full-face touring helmet with an internal QSV-2 sun visor, CNS-1C main visor and integrated Shoei Comlink preparation. It suits riders who want road-touring convenience without a moving chin bar.
A compact sports-road full-face helmet for riders who do not require an internal sun visor. Shoei identifies the externally mounted Sena SRL EXT as a recommended communication system for NXR2, and it is not supplied with the helmet.
Shoei's performance-led full-face model, designed around a racing posture. Its modular head padding and alternative cheek-pad thicknesses provide extensive adjustment, but the fit still needs assessing for the individual rider.
A flip-front touring helmet with ECE 22.06 P/J homologation, QSV-2 sun visor and Shoei Comlink preparation. Check operation of the chin bar, visor and fastening while wearing the gloves you normally use.
A neo-classic full-face model with a fixed chin bar, CPB-1V visor and ECE 22.06 approval. It offers a cleaner retro appearance without becoming an open-face helmet.
J-Cruise 3 is a touring open-face helmet with a large main visor, internal sun visor and Comlink preparation. J·O2 uses a compact classic shell with a retractable CJ-4 visor. Neither has fixed chin protection.
An ECE 22.06 on-road and off-road adventure helmet with a peak, CNS-2 Pinlock visor, detachable washable padding and intercom preparation. It is distinct from a visorless motocross helmet.
A dedicated professional off-road helmet with a large eye port for goggles, integrated peak, M.E.D.S., emergency-release cheek pads and ECE 22.06 homologation. It prioritises motocross airflow and movement.
A fixed full-face helmet provides a continuous chin section and is the starting point for riders prioritising maximum face coverage. GT-Air 3 targets touring, NXR2 balances sports and road use, X-SPR Pro focuses on track performance and Glamster 06 adds classic styling.
Neotec 3's moving chin bar makes it easier to open the front when stopped or where its approved configuration permits. The extra mechanism changes weight, balance and operation compared with a fixed full-face helmet, so try both types before deciding.
Open-face models create a more exposed riding experience. J-Cruise 3 offers extensive visor coverage, while J·O2 is a more minimal classic design, but neither provides the fixed chin bar of a full-face helmet. Choose with a clear understanding of that difference.
Current Shoei models commonly carry ECE 22.06 homologation, but this collection can also contain earlier graphics or previous generations. Check the exact product listing and the approval label inside the helmet. Do not infer the approval from the brand name, colour or a similar model.
Shoei advises trying a helmet with expert support because fit can change between model generations as the company adapts shapes for different markets. Measure around the widest part of the head, use the chart for the exact model and treat that measurement only as the starting point.
The helmet should make even, firm contact around the crown and cheeks without a sharp pressure point. Fasten it, hold the shell and gently move it side to side and forwards. The skin should move with the padding, and the helmet should not rotate freely, roll over the eyes or lift excessively at the rear.
Different cheek-pad thicknesses and centre-pad options are available for many Shoei helmets. These can refine an otherwise correct size, but they should not be used to make the wrong shell size or unsuitable internal shape fit.
The Shoei Personal Fitting System uses head measurements and model-specific software to recommend a helmet size and identify areas that may need refinement. Special fitting pads are placed in designated pockets in the head padding, followed by a try-on and fine adjustment before they are fixed in place.
Shoei states that P.F.S. can be used for all current models and some previous generations. It is not a universal alteration to the shell or EPS, and it cannot correct every head-shape mismatch. Moto Central's trained fitting team can explain suitability after measuring and assessing the chosen helmet.

Each Shoei family uses its own visor system. GT-Air 3, Neotec 3, NXR2, X-SPR Pro, Glamster 06, J-Cruise 3 and Hornet ADV 06 do not share one visor simply because they are the same brand. Match the visor code and helmet model before ordering a replacement.
Pinlock inclusion and lens type vary by model and product specification. An internal sun visor is present on models such as GT-Air 3, Neotec 3 and J-Cruise 3, but not every Shoei. NXR2, X-SPR Pro, Glamster 06 and VFX-WR 06 take different approaches to eye protection.
Use only approved visor configurations and check the legal and lighting requirements for the lens fitted. A dark or mirrored visor is not suitable for every condition.
GT-Air 3, Neotec 3 and J-Cruise 3 use Shoei Comlink preparation for compatible integrated communication hardware. NXR2 uses a different approach, with Shoei recommending the externally mounted Sena SRL EXT. Communication equipment is normally separate unless the product listing explicitly says otherwise.
Check the helmet model, system generation, speaker recesses, microphone arrangement and any ECE 22.06 compatibility information before fitting. Do not drill the shell, cut the EPS or alter structural parts to install electronics.
Many current Shoei helmets use detachable, washable comfort padding, but follow the manual for the exact model. Wash only removable components by the stated method and allow them to air-dry completely away from direct heat.
Clean the shell and visor with suitable products and inspect the visor mechanism, vents, fastening, seals and emergency-release tabs. Replace worn comfort parts with model-specific Shoei components. New padding can restore comfort but cannot repair an impacted shell or energy-absorbing liner.
After an impact or when structural damage is suspected, stop using the helmet and follow Shoei's inspection and replacement guidance.
Moto Central combines a substantial choice of Shoei helmet models, sizes and graphics with trained in-store fitting and the Shoei Personal Fitting Service. That makes it possible to compare GT-Air 3, Neotec 3, NXR2, X-SPR Pro and the wider range around head shape, riding style and practical features rather than choosing from photographs alone.

GT-Air 3 is a fixed full-face touring helmet. Neotec 3 has a flip-front chin bar and P/J homologation. Both use an internal sun visor and Comlink preparation, but their structures and visor systems differ.
No. NXR2 uses its main visor without a built-in drop-down sun visor. Choose an approved visor for the conditions.
Normally no. Prepared helmets accept a particular compatible system, but the electronics are separate unless the exact listing states otherwise.
No. P.F.S. refines the fit using model-specific pads in designated areas. It does not alter the shell or EPS and cannot make every unsuitable helmet shape correct.
No. Pad type, thickness and size compatibility are specific to the helmet family and generation. Use the exact Shoei part code and model chart.
