The NXR2 is built around Shoei's AIM shell construction and a multi-density EPS liner, with a design focused on stability, ventilation, visor clarity and comfort. Protection and construction
The shell uses Shoei AIM construction, combining organic and multi-composite fibres for a strong, shock-absorbent structure. Inside, the multi-density EPS liner is designed to manage impact energy while allowing ventilation channels to move air through the helmet. The double D-ring fastener gives a secure, race-style closure, and the Emergency Quick Release System helps trained responders remove the helmet more safely after an accident.
Visor, ventilation and comfort
The CWR-F2 visor system is designed to give a wide, clear field of vision with reduced distortion, while the central visor locking mechanism helps keep the visor secure at speed. A Pinlock Evo insert is included to help reduce misting in cold or wet conditions. Large forehead intakes, side intakes and a rear exhaust vent help airflow through the helmet, while the removable and washable interior uses moisture-absorbing, quick-drying fabric for comfort on longer rides.
