The ROOF RO32 Desmo 3 Carbon is a premium ECE 22.06 flip-up motorcycle helmet for commuting, touring and everyday road riding. This Glossy Carbon version combines a carbon-fibre and fibreglass composite shell with ROOF's 180-degree reversible chin bar, giving riders the protection and coverage of a full-face helmet and the convenience of an open-face configuration.

Easy conversion with secure locking
The chin bar is released from a central control with two safety buttons. When it returns to the full-face position, it locks automatically. The coordinated Desmo mechanism manages the visor during conversion, helping make the transition simple while stopped. Always confirm that the chin bar is fully locked before riding in full-face mode.

Measure around the widest part of your head, approximately 2 cm above the eyebrows, above the ears and around the back of the skull. The helmet should feel firm and even without painful pressure points. If your measurement is above 56.5 cm, ROOF recommends choosing SM / 57 rather than S / 56. A new helmet will ease slightly as the comfort lining settles.
Moto Central recommends trying the helmet on in our showroom where possible. Keep it on for several minutes and check crown pressure, cheek support, visor operation and glasses or intercom clearance before riding.

Can the Desmo 3 Carbon be used on the road with the chin bar open?
Yes. Its ECE 22.06 P/J approval covers both the closed full-face configuration and the rearward open-face configuration.
Which visor comes with the helmet?
A latest-generation photochromic visor is supplied fitted. It adapts its tint to light conditions and is ECE 22.06 approved, anti-scratch and anti-fog.
Is the helmet ready for an intercom?
Yes. The interior is prepared for a universal intercom. ROOF recommends a boom microphone for this modular helmet format. The intercom itself is not included.
How long is the ROOF warranty?
ROOF provides a three-year manufacturer's warranty. For ECE 22.06 helmets, eligible owners can activate a free four-year extension within 30 days of purchase, giving up to seven years of cover against manufacturing defects. Proof of purchase is required, and normal wear, impact damage and misuse are excluded.
