Oxford Grinder S2 U-Lock Black - 16mm x 320mm x 155mm

The Oxford Grinder S2 U-Lock in Black is a high-security motorcycle and bicycle lock engineered to resist angle-grinder attacks. Its 16mm hardened square-steel shackle uses an advanced faceted carbide coating designed to deflect cutting discs and considerably slow forced entry.

A double-locking mechanism prevents the shackle from rotating, requiring both sides to be cut before the lock can be defeated. Oxford states that testing required an average of 15 cutting discs to pass through one side of the coated shackle. The lock is independently certified to Sold Secure Powered Cycle Diamond and Pedal Cycle Diamond standards.

A protective silicone coating helps prevent damage to the motorcycle or bicycle, while the self-sealing keyway cover keeps out water and debris. The pick-resistant and drill-resistant disc-detainer cylinder is supplied with three keys and is supported by Oxford’s replacement-key service.
