The LS2 FF818 Storm III Sporty White / Blue / Red is a full-face touring and urban motorcycle helmet for riders who split their time between town traffic and faster roads. Safety and construction
LS2 builds the Storm III around a KPA shell and channelled EPS. Its emergency-release system is intended to help trained responders remove the cheek pads, while the reinforced chin strap closes with a practical micrometric buckle. The visor's push-button lock helps keep it securely closed during a ride.
Visor and ventilation
The clear outer visor provides a broad MaxVision field of view and can be removed without tools. A Pinlock 70 MaxVision insert is supplied to help manage visor misting when fitted correctly. The internal sun visor can be lowered when required and uses LS2's easy-removal system.
Top and chin vents feed the channelled EPS, with rear exhaust ports helping warm air leave the shell. Transparent elements are incorporated into the intake and exhaust design. A breath deflector helps direct exhaled air away from the visor.
Comfort and communication
The breathable comfort lining is removable and washable, with hypoallergenic and antibacterial materials used in the interior. An extra-comfort liner and magnetic chin curtain help create a settled touring fit. The shell is prepared for an LS2 intercom installation, but no communication unit is included.
