The John Doe JD/One Spectral is an ECE 22.06 full-face motorcycle helmet combining the official Spectral graphic, presented in a purple-led colour scheme with a compact, 1970s-inspired shape. It is aimed at riders who want modern protection and comfort with genuine scope to change the helmet's look through John Doe's Multi-Lock system.

Helmet size and fit guide
Measure around the widest part of your head, passing the tape approximately 2 cm above the eyebrows and ears. This table includes only sizes configured on this Moto Central product.

John Doe uses four outer shells across the range: XS and S share one shell, while M, L and XL each use their own. The published standard cheek-pad thicknesses are XS 35 mm, S 30 mm, M 25 mm, L 30 mm and XL 30 mm. Alternative compatible thicknesses are available separately, which can help fine-tune the fit after the correct shell size has been chosen.
What is supplied?
John Doe's published box contents list one JD/One helmet, one clear visor, one tinted visor and one visor cover. Size-specific cheek pads are fitted as part of the helmet.
Compatible optional accessories
Direct JD/One accessories include outer visors, long and short sun peaks, blanking panels, goggles, visor and peak fasteners, replacement inner padding and cheek pads. Check that any accessory is specifically listed for the JD/One before fitting it.
Product questions
Is this helmet road legal in the UK?
This listing is for the ECE 22.06 version. John Doe separately publishes DOT FMVSS 218 certification for US-market versions, but this does not mean every individual helmet carries both approvals.
Can a communication system be fitted?
Yes. John Doe states that the helmet is prepared for communications and speakers, although no intercom is included.
Can the lining be washed?
Yes. The inner lining and cheek pads are removable, replaceable and washable.

Beautiful helmet very quick and easy to install cardo, more then any other helmet I've installed to..very comfortable on long journeys.larve sizes so medium is larger then some brands in medium,lovely visor but only tint so doesn't block the sun out fully, very good helmet for the price, excellent quality and nice packaging. Recommend this helmet
