HJC DKS088 Dark Smoke Pinlock 70 Anti-Fog Insert
This dark smoke DKS088 is an inner Pinlock 70 anti-fog insert for compatible, Pinlock-prepared HJC HJ-05, HJ-07, HJ-09 and HJ-17 original outer visors. The dark-smoke lens reduces glare and is intended for bright daytime conditions only. It must not be used at night or in poor visibility.
Compatibility
- Fits confirmed helmets: HJC C91, CL-14, CL-16, CL-17, CL-Max, CL-SP, CL-Y, CS-14, CS-15, CS-R1, FG-15, FS-15, IS-Max II and TR-1 when the helmet has the correct Pinlock-prepared original outer visor.
- Visor systems: Pinlock-prepared HJC HJ-05, HJ-07, HJ-09 and HJ-17 original visors with HJC-specific pins.
- Size: One DKS088 insert fits the listed prepared visor systems. It is not selected by helmet shell size.
- Check before ordering: The outer visor must carry two Pinlock pins and accept DKS088. An HJ-series code alone is not enough if the installed visor is a non-Pinlock version.
Important Product Distinction
This is the flexible inner anti-fog insert only. It is not the complete external face visor and it cannot replace a damaged outer visor. The non-Pinlock HJ-05 outer-visors sold under Moto Central SKUs CL2CV and CL2DV do not accept this insert.
Use and Care
The dark-smoke lens reduces glare and is intended for bright daytime conditions only. It must not be used at night or in poor visibility. Install it against the inside of a clean, compatible outer visor so the silicone seal sits evenly around the lens. Clean gently with lukewarm water and a soft cloth, then allow it to air dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
